As you well versed VO peeps know, every genre of VO is different – even within animation, it’s important to know the subtle differences between, say, Disney Jr and Nickelodeon.

So a Casting Director with experience in animation, AND commercials, AND video games, AND more…. well that’s a rare bird!  And that rare bird – ANDY ROTH – is coming to working with the VO Dojo!

Specializing particularly in Voice Over, Andy is one of New York’s busiest casting directors, with a career that has spanned over two decades.

Andy worked for several years as the in-house casting director for Cunningham Escott Slevin & Doherty (CESD), one of the country’s TOP commercial talent agencies, where he did the voice casting on thousands of projects: for animation, commercial, television, film, video games and more.  Several years ago, he decided to be his own boss, and has continued to work with many of the biggest advertising agencies, casting houses and production companies in the world!  He has worked on high-profile projects for companies such as Blizzard Entertainment, Calvin Klein, Geico, Fenway Park, Kraft, Bank of America and many more:  Andy’s handiwork can be seen on just about every network, cable channel, video game system, and all over the Internet.

As producer & writer, his most recent animated projects: “Enchanted Thyme – The Delicious Adventure Series,” and “The Peculiar Adventures of Willow B. Star,”, gained him national attention and several prestigious Telly Awards in 2016 & 2017.  His first short film “The Lovers”, staring Steven Ogg and Chris Phillips was picked up for global distribution by Hypnotic.  He then went on to work with Daily Show writer, J.R. Havlan to Co-Produce “The Catskill Chainsaw Redemption.”

Andy’s teaching resume is equally impressive – including faculty places and regular speaking spots at NYU’s Tisch School, Rutgers & Syracuse.  His voice over workshops sell out months in advance, and he was twice voted “Best Voice Over Teacher in NY” by Backstage.

And now he’s coming to The Dojo!

This is a VIRTUAL workout, so particularly if you’re not in NY – here’s your chance to work with an extraordinarily talented and experienced casting director/ VO coach.
